We started the morning off with an Easter Hunt around the house...the Easter Bunny started a new tradition this year, a new pair of jammies and a new book in each basket.
Next up, a picture in our Easter best...I think it was at this point when I knew things were not going to go our way. There were lots of tears, drama and unsuccessful bribing.
Church was great, a time to really reflect on our Savior.
We spent the rest of the day at Chris' parent's house...Emma had a huge egg hunt all to herself, we enjoyed a big turkey dinner, and we finished the day off with dying some eggs, a favorite this year.
We hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Nice pics... just a little jealous of warm CA. If the Easter Bunny had hid the eggs outside of OUR house, the kids would have had to bundle up in snow boots and gloves to find them.
Not that Cole & Trevor would have complained about digging through six inches of snow in pursuit of candy-filled plastic eggs.
Both of your girls look so beautiful! I love their dresses and bows! Such great pics. And I love that there were no tears in the Easter bunny pics. We did not pay a visit to the EB this year, because of the screaming tears last year:)
I love the way Taylor is looking at Emma when Emma didn't want her picture taken. Taylor looks so dumbfounded! I wonder if next year it will be her turn to hate having her picture taken. It seems like there's always one...
I can't quit looking at that picture of the two of them! Taylors face says it all, and then some. Adorable pictures!
That's a cute tradition to start with the jammies. It's always nice to give them something they actually need!
