Bainbridge Island 2009

Leaving Seattle behind...
Island life
It took Emma about 1.2 seconds after arriving at the house to make it out to the water to throw rocks and search for hidden crabs.  And something new, rock climbing which I don't suggest if your child is ultra sensitive to scraped knees.
Boating, Wakeboarding, Tubing
If you can believe it, Emma rode the tube with her Aunt Alisa and Dakota. It didn't look exactly like the picture above, and sadly all I have is video, but I was so happy she went for it and even liked it as long as the water didn't get in her face! And she's made it clear that when she is 5 years old, then she will try wakeboarding!
Our 2 explorers. We love to explore around my parent's house and see what wildlife we can find.  It is so beautiful.  One of my most favorite places to be. And I'm not going to lie, I was kind of hoping for a deer sighting so I could envision Edward taking care of his thirst...is that weird?
Lots and lots of trips to Bon Bon, the candy store in town even a special trip with Papa.
Park Days
The first of a few pranks but by far the best!
JAZZY turns 9...dance party!! On the schedule...the Macarena!
Playing with the big boy toys!  This motorcycle was restored by my Grandpa...it was awesome to see it in action.
Point No Point Beach
GNO! I'll never forget our waiter! We missed you Bree and Teri. And don't you worry, there was a BNO too.
Boat rides to Poulsbo for ice cream...
...and pastries. It's tradition!
Some other highlights...
These 2 together! With Rian's imagination and Emma's enthusiasm...it makes for a great pair!
And this little one learning how to climb stairs and getting her first teeth! Milestones are huge for us with this little girl!
A very creative carnival hosted by Jazz and Koty, Ice cream at Mora, Dave stuck in Nursery, swimming at the Aquatic Center (somehow I got out of going all 3 times- a quiet house with sleeping babies is a definite highlight for me! and I hear em had a blast), crashing the boat up on to the dock at Poulsbo, sitting in between Dad and Emma for the movie Up, Todd, Max and John jumping off this random half broken down wood plank in the middle of the ocean, Jacy's amazing stradle into the water (i'll just leave it at that), and our airplane ride home with this lovely lady, she really was very nice.
And most importantly, lots and lots of snuggle time with Grandma and Papa...
Thank you Mom and Dad for sharing all of this with us!

Bree...

1. BNO- "Boys Night Out"
2. Yes, Meredith from the Office
3. We missed you terribly on this trip! But if you need a silver lining, be glad you weren't there for all the sad, sad goodbyes :( I felt like a child at the docs office watching my siblings get shots and knowing I was next! Torture I tell you!

What a great blog...I hadn't checked yours for a long time. (Bree...are you saying that you got GNO, but not BNO.) All of those pictures bring back such great memories!

Love the pic of the kids with their ice cream on the stairs. It looks like it's out of a magazine. So beautiful and artsy. Looks like you had fun.
